There is no clear definition as to what a “Financial Planner” is. In many states anyone can call themselves a “Financial Planner” without having any professional training and without carrying any professional designations. This is why it is important to make sure that your “Financial Planner” has completed a professional training course and holds a designation like the CSFPSM
-Chartered Senior Financial Planner designation.
Why I Became a CSFPSM
Chartered Senior Financial Planner
As a Professional In My Field
Continuing my education and staying up to date with current information is important to me. The new bulletins and online information that the ACSFP (Association of Chartered Senior Financial Planners) provides, keeps me up to date with relevant topics and information that have been crucial to my success in the fields of Advanced Retirement Planning and Asset Protection. The ACSFP was founded to assist with Advanced Retirement Planning and Asset Protection strategies.
This “Elite” Designation
Being a CSFPSM – Chartered Senior Financial Planner does not mean that I only work with Seniors. The education and information that I receive from the ASCFP Board allows me to assist people of all ages. Being a CSFPSM Chartered Senior Financial Planner also allows me to recognize and address the many issues that people of all ages face. This “Elite” designation is not available to the general public. Many ACSFP members are also CPAs, Lawyers, Bankers, and Securities Licensed professionals.
